Five measures is plenty for a vendor scorecard
Workshops fail when every department brings a pet column. Quality wants defect parts-per-million. Finance wants invoice match. The dock wants dwell. Purchasing wants price variance. All of those can be true and still drown the SLA conversation.
We ask the room to keep five: on-time in the clause’s clock, fill in the clause’s unit, damage or short, claim age, and one local measure. For a Tbilisi desk buying through Batumi, the local measure is often hours from customs release to inland gate. For a Clifton Forge dock it is often Friday cut-off misses.
Dropped columns are written on a ‘parking’ page so nobody feels ambushed. They can return next quarter if the five measures go quiet.
The local tracking utility some desks keep on a workstation is only a ledger of those five. It does not sit on a network of exchanges, and it does not replace the signed paper. It is a notebook with columns.
